Dopo aver avuto una buona esperienza con i diffusori a tre vie di questa stessa casa costruttrice ho deciso di provare questi subwoofer per riprodurre le frequenze più basse del suono, sono rimasto davvero impressionato dalla bellezza di questi diffusori, realizzati in materiali resistenti, ottime per essere poste per terra. Il suono è davvero potente, tanto da far vibrare quello che c'è attorno, io le ho provate con un amplificatore che non eroga neanche la metà dei watt RMS dichiarati sulle casse eppure come potrete vedere dal video sottostante suonano davvero forte (nell audio del video che sentirete non riuscirete a sentire bene i bassi poiché sono frequenze che vengono registrate male dal microfono del mio iPhone 5S, dopotutto riuscirò a darvi un'idea della loro potenza). Ora vi voglio dare alcuni consigli su come sfruttare al massimo questi diffusori: 1) Per suonare davvero forte e bene hanno bisogno di un amplificatore di potenza uguale o maggiore, bisognerà solamente tenere il volume dei due canali un pò più bassi per evitare di sovraccaricarle. In questo caso servirebbe un amplificatore da 1500Watt RMS a 4 Ohm o maggiore, i diffusori in questione sono progettati per suonare a 8 Ohm quindi la potenza dell'amplificatore viene dimezzata. 2) Consiglio di utilizzare sempre un crossover che smista le frequenze in output dal mixer inviando solamente quelle più basse, per permettere un audio più potente e pulito (se utilizzate diffusori con tweeter la scelta del crossover in un impianto passivo diventa indispensabile se non volete bruciare ogni volta i componenti spingendoli al massimo). 3) Collegando tramite AUX un cellulare o un MP3 non si avrà la potenza effettiva che potremmo avere collegando un buon mixer di marca. Quindi non spaventatevi se il suono risulterà basso collegando il cellulare poichè la potenza del segnale uscente è davvero troppo bassa per avere prestazioni eccellenti. Se state pensando a comporre un impianto con possibilità di espandere la potenza musicale con altri diffusori il passivo è quello che fa per voi, la facilità di installazione è pazzesca se utilizzate i connettori Speakon, io per esempio li ho costruiti da solo (su internet sono disponibili foto degli schemi di collegamento), utilizzando un cavo 2 X 2,5 di spessore per evitare surriscaldamenti e aumentare la sicurezza. Che altro aggiungere, un prodotto dalla qualità-prezzo fantastica, vi terrò aggiornati come si comportano questi diffusori nel tempo.

After having had a good experience with the three-way speakers of this same manufacturer, I decided to try these subwoofers to reproduce the lower frequencies of the sound, I was really impressed by the beauty of these speakers, made of resistant materials, excellent for being placed on the ground. The sound is really powerful, so as to make everything around vibrate, I tried them with an amplifier that doesn't deliver even half of the RMS watts declared on the speakers and yet as you can see from the video below they sound really strong (in the audio of the videos you will hear you will not be able to hear the bass well as they are frequencies that are poorly recorded by the microphone of my iPhone 5S, after all I will be able to give you an idea of their power). Now I want to give you some advice on how to make the most of these speakers: 1) To play really loud and well they need an amplifier of equal or greater power, you just need to keep the volume of the two channels a little lower to avoid overloading them. In this case a 1500Watt RMS amplifier at 4 Ohms or greater would be needed, the speakers in question are designed to play at 8 Ohms so the power of the amplifier is halved. 2) I recommend always using a crossover that shifts the frequencies in output from the mixer by sending only the lowest ones, to allow for a more powerful and cleaner audio (if you use speakers with tweeters, the choice of the crossover in a passive system becomes essential if you don't want to burn each time the components pushing them to the maximum). 3) By connecting a mobile phone or an MP3 via AUX, you will not have the effective power that we could have by connecting a good branded mixer. So don't be scared if the sound will be low when connecting the mobile phone as the outgoing signal strength is really too low to have excellent performance. If you are thinking of composing a system with the possibility of expanding the musical power with other speakers, the passive is the one for you, the ease of installation is crazy if you use the Speakon connectors, for example I built them myself (on the internet there are photos of the connection diagrams available), using a 2 X 2.5 thick cable to avoid overheating and increase safety. What else to add, a fantastic quality-price product, I will keep you updated on how these speakers perform over time.

Ich war erstaunt über die Leistungsfähigkeit dieses Subwoofers. Selbst ein einzelner konnte zusammen mit meinen Omnitronic AZ-212 Topteilen die 80m² große Scheune gefüllt mit 35 Personen und reichlich Deko mit gutem Pegel aufwarten - potentes Amping und Frequenzweiche mit Subsonic-Filter vorausgesetzt. Ich nutze eine DAP P2000 mit 2x700W Rms an 8 Ohm für die Subwoofer - die freut sich schon, bald einen zweiten Spielgefährten zu bekommen. Ich werde noch einen Bestellen.

I was amazed at the performance of this subwoofer. Even a single one, together with my Omnitronic AZ-212 tops, could serve the 80m² barn filled with 35 people and plenty of decoration with a good level - provided potent amping and crossover with subsonic filter. I use a DAP P2000 with 2x700W Rms at 8 ohms for the subwoofers - it's looking forward to getting a second playmate soon. I will order another one.
