Absolutely Stupendous sound quality on all bass & treble frequencies, lending to it's superior build quality and aesthetically pleasing visual stature.. I bought units in mottled black.. very stylish and compact size for shelf speakers. Easy to wire either with naked connections or by means of specialist speaker wire housing jacks (can be purchased here on Amazon, under the technical dept. They're as cheap as chips.!!) Sound quality is absolutely crystal clear in execution, with an excellent range of frequencies offered on all levels of bass & treble ranges. Performs, equally on low, medium and high volume levels.. with all variations of bass and treble parameters accommodated. ...all in all.. I'm extremely content with my purchase, of this double unit product..and it's excellent value for money, considering overall quality of product..!! Shld be a nice and welcome addition, to your static, proper, separate stereo assembly.? You won't regret purchasing, as doesn't need the traditional initial (100*hrs) of bedding-in airtime..So u can get straight dwn to the job, of listening and appreciating ur favourite music tracks, in perfect bliss and tranquility..Enjoy ur purchase..!!

Absolutely fantastic for the money, the sound from these little beauties is very good and the quality in the finished product is just as good as your high end speakers of the same style. Highly recommended 4 stars all round.

I purchased the entire set of speakers for my surround sound system.. front lhs & rhs, centre, rear lhs & rhs and the sub... the sound from all of these speakers are absolutely amazing.. I am running them off of a Pioneer amp and the clean and crisp quality of sound is beyond anything that I have heard from any speaker at this price!!!

They look well very well made and finished and the components appear to be of high quality. But these are mid-range speakers, meaning they have no bass at all. I can only assume they are supposed to be used with a 5.1 system where you would also have a sub-woofer. There is also no vent on the speakers (bass-reflex), it's a sealed unit, I guess without generating any bass it doesn't need one. I was comparing these with mission 700 (not good speakers but at least has bass) and Cambridge SX-50 (great speakers IMO) I'm doing 4 stars for what they are, but I wouldn't consider using these on their own for your sound system.

Look great on the shelf by my white record player.

Amazing build quality! Brilliant minimalistic look. Very good sound quality: missing on base, clear mids, crisp highs. Base lovers will have to invest in a sub. Overall a very decent pair of speakers considering the price.

Devo quindi considerarmi pienamente soddisfatto. Complimenti su tutto.
Order placed on Sunday, delivered on Friday, I was able to follow all the movements step by step. To consider that they were in Germany. The product is aesthetically valid, while pointing out a cheapness in the finishes (keep in mind the low price range). The sound? Sincerely great. A well-defined frequency response across their designated range. I placed them side by side with the sub, which arrived together. I must therefore consider myself fully satisfied. Congratulations on everything.
The 501 came securely packaged and are immaculately finished. The designer deserves an award in my opinion. The speaker bezels made of metal look very high-quality and convey a much higher price range with the walnut finish. This also applies to the fixed phase plug on the midrange driver and the gold-plated screw terminals on the back. All in all, the 501 is one of the most visually beautiful bookshelf speakers I have seen so far. Ultimately, however, the more important thing is the sound. The speakers come as a closed construction. In the bass range, you benefit from being placed close to the wall. The midrange driver drops off from 120 Hz and is 3 dB quieter at 95 Hz, at 70 Hz the -10 dB point is reached. A subwoofer is therefore recommended for deep bass support. Fortunately, booming bass is not an issue. The existing upper bass comes clean and differentiated to my ear. In the midrange, the midrange works beautifully linear and resolves well. The tweeter is amazingly analytical, but also plays itself into the foreground and therefore dominates the sound. This results in an overall very ""bright"" sound character. I like the spatial representation, the sound is in the room and doesn't stick to the speakers. The positions of the musicians on the stage can be assigned well. However, the music lacks ""fullness"" or ""body"", which is again due to the tuning being too bright. Measurements with Audionet CARMA 4 confirm the listening impression. The tweeter actually needs a throttle of at least 3dB in the crossover, probably even more, in order to be lowered to the level of the midrange. The mid-range driver drops by around 6 dB from around 3 kHz upwards. The tweeter also falls slowly downwards. Based on the measured values, I'm guessing a cheap 1st order crossover (coil on the MT, capacitor on the HT). Conclusion: With a bit of crossover tuning, the Auna 501 could definitely outshine the competition in this price range in terms of sound. Visually they convince me all along the line. The tuning, which is too high in tone, prevents a 5 star rating. I see AUNA with the 501 on the right track to gaining a positive reputation in the hi-fi entry-level segment. Maybe with a 2nd revision, which will do the switch tuning again? I would be happy.
