Top Gerät auf kleinem Raum. Macht wirklich Spaß. Manko für mich sind die doch billig wirkende Fußstützen und die noch billigere Endanschläge.

Top device in a small space. Really fun. Shortcomings for me are the cheap-looking footrests and the even cheaper end stops.

Tolles Gerät! Ein bisschen platzsparender als die meisten anderen. Der Kundenservice hat ein kleines Problem mit einem der Teile rasch und unkompliziert behoben.

Auf der Suche nach einem Wasserrudergerät hatte ich etliche Rezensionen und Tests gelesen und mich schließlich für den Flow M2 von Capital Sports entschieden. Der Flow M2 scheint (bis auf wenige Bauteile) baugleich zu sein mit dem Skandika Nemo IV (der von Joey Kelly beworben wird) und dem Hammer Waterstream (der jedoch keinen 45°-Tank hat) und dem Fuel Fitness RG500 - alle drei waren jedoch zum Teil erheblich teurer. Der Trainingscomputer des M2 ist in mehreren anderen Wasserrudergeräten ebenfalls verbaut. - Das Manko: Der Trainingscomputer ist das schwächste Element an dem Rudergerät (ein Stern Abzug): Wie man in einigen anderen Rezensionen lesen kann, ist das LCD-Display unbeleuchtet und daher nur dann ablesbar, wenn man es leicht schräg stellt. Über ein separat erhältliches Pulsmessgerät (Brustgurt, der sich automatisch mit dem Computer des M2 verbindet), wird der Puls angezeigt - außerdem noch die Zeit, zurückgelegte Strecke, geschätzter Kalorienverbrauch und die gemachten Züge. Es gibt ein paar Programme (QuickStart, Standard, Target single und intervals, custom und race), die ganz nett sind und ein paar Zahlen generieren. Die Programme werden über einen Startknopf gestartet und dann läuft die Zeit, auch wenn man nicht rudert. Die Züge und die zurückgelegte Entfernung werden aber so erfasst, wie man sie macht. Kalorien sind wie gesagt gerundete Werte. Es ist jedoch nur ein LCD-Display - nichts ist aufwändig animiert, wie die Bilder bei amazon zunächst suggerieren. Hier sieht man ein Tablet, dass z.B. über die kostenpflichtige Sport-App Kinomap mit dem Trainingscomputer verbunden werden kann, was ich noch nicht ausprobiert habe. Ein Tablet oder Handy kann auf dem Trainingscomputer an einer "Tragekante" aufgelegt werden. + Der Preis: Die weiße Variante des M2 ist mit knapp unter 600€ die günstigere Variante. Sonst kostet der M2 in schwarz ca. 800€ bei amazon. Dabei unterscheiden sich beide M2s nur in der Farbe, wie mir auf Nachfrage von Capital Sports mitgeteilt wurde. Zwischenzeitlich war der Preis gesenkt worden, sodass ich das schwarze Rudergerät für ca. 500€ kaufen konnte. + Die Verarbeitung: Die Qualität des M2 beeindruckte mich sofort! Alle Bauteile wirken wertig und stabil. Nichts macht quietschende Geräusche. Die Teile waren auch sehr gut verpackt. Das Schwarz macht was her. Hier und da ist das Rudergerät blau und silber abgesetzt. Die Anleitung ist in 5 verschiedenen Sprachen verfasst und leicht verständlich. Der Aufbau dauert stressfeie 30 Minuten. Werkzeug ist enthalten, Schrauben und Bauteile sind idiotensicher markiert. Die Befüllung mit Wasser aus dem Hahn erfolgt über Schlauch mit angeschlossenem Trichter. (Eine Handpumpe zum etwaigen Wassertausch ist enthalten). Eine Wasseraufbereitungstablette ist hier zu empfehlen. Die Fussablage ist auf die Schuhgröße einstellbar - Schuhe tragen beim Training ist ratsam. Der Sitz ist bequem und aus hartem Schaumgummi - anders als in diversen Ratgebern ist der Sitz jedoch nicht höhenverstellbar. Die Laufrollen wirken sehr stabil. Der Griff ist einfach gehalten und ohne weichen Schaumgummi. Das Gerät kann hochkant verstaut werden, was leicht funktioniert. Optisch macht ein Holzruderer wahrscheinlich mehr her, wobei sich das M2 auch sehen lassen kann. + Die Funktion/das Training: Die Ruderbewegungen erfolgen flüssig und mit steigendem Widerstand - je nachdem wie stark man die Züge macht. Das rauschende Wassergeräusch wirkt meditativ. Den Tank kann man in 6 Stufen befüllen. Bis zur ersten Markierung passen ca. 7,5 Liter Wasser rein. Das Gerät macht Spaß und man trainiert damit viele Muskelgruppen in Beinen, Armen, Rücken, Bauch, Schulter, etc. Gleichzeitig ist es ein gutes Kardiotraining. + Die Lieferung: Sie erfolgte via Spedition (in meinem Fall AO-Logistics). Da mir von Amazon keine Kontaktdaten zum Spediteur genannt wurden und mir keine Email zuging, um einen Termin auszumachen, musste ich die Kontaktdaten selbst recherchieren. Dazu kontaktierte ich Capital Sports, die mir nach 2 Tagen auch gut weiterhelfen konnten. Der technische Support von CS für Fragen zum Gerät ist jedoch ausbaufähig.

When I was looking for a water rowing machine, I read a number of reviews and tests and finally decided on the Flow M2 from Capital Sports. The Flow M2 appears to be identical (save for a few components) to the Skandika Nemo IV (which is promoted by Joey Kelly) and the Hammer Waterstream (which doesn't have a 45° tank though) and the Fuel Fitness RG500 - but all three were sometimes significantly more expensive. The training computer of the M2 is also installed in several other water rowing machines. - The shortcoming: The training computer is the weakest element of the rowing machine (one star deducted): As you can read in some other reviews, the LCD display is not illuminated and can therefore only be read if you tilt it slightly. The heart rate is displayed via a separately available heart rate monitor (chest strap that automatically connects to the computer of the M2), as well as the time, distance traveled, estimated calories burned and the trains taken. There are a few programs (QuickStart, Standard, Target single and intervals, custom and race) that are quite nice and generate a few numbers. The programs are started with a start button and then the time runs, even if you are not rowing. However, the moves and the distance covered are recorded as you make them. As I said, calories are rounded values. However, it is only an LCD display - nothing is elaborately animated, as the pictures on amazon initially suggest. Here you can see a tablet that can be connected to the training computer via the paid sports app Kinomap, for example, which I haven't tried yet. A tablet or mobile phone can be placed on the training computer on a "carrying edge". + The price: The white variant of the M2 is the cheaper variant at just under €600. Otherwise, the M2 in black costs around €800 on amazon. Both M2s differ only in color, as I was informed by Capital Sports when asked. In the meantime, the price had been lowered, so I was able to buy the black rowing machine for around €500. + The workmanship: I was immediately impressed by the quality of the M2! All components appear valuable and stable. Nothing makes squeaky noises. The parts were also packaged very well. The black makes something. Here and there the rowing machine is set off in blue and silver. The instructions are written in 5 different languages and are easy to understand. Set-up takes 30 minutes without stress. Tools are included, screws and components are foolproof marked. It is filled with water from the tap using a hose with a funnel attached. (A hand pump for any water changes is included). A water treatment tablet is recommended here. The foot rest can be adjusted to the shoe size - it is advisable to wear shoes during training. The seat is comfortable and made of hard foam rubber - unlike in various guides, the seat is not height-adjustable. The casters seem very stable. The handle is kept simple and without soft foam rubber. The device can be stowed upright, which works easily. A wooden rower probably looks better, although the M2 is also impressive. + The function/the training: The rowing movements are smooth and with increasing resistance - depending on how hard you make the moves. The rushing sound of the water has a meditative effect. The tank can be filled in 6 stages. Approx. 7.5 liters of water fit in up to the first mark. The device is fun and you can use it to train many muscle groups in your legs, arms, back, stomach, shoulders, etc. At the same time it is a good cardio workout. + The delivery: It was carried out by a forwarding agency (in my case AO-Logistics). Since Amazon did not give me any contact details for the carrier and I did not receive an email to make an appointment, I had to research the contact details myself. To do this, I contacted Capital Sports, who were able to help me after 2 days. However, CS technical support for questions about the device can be expanded.

Die Lieferung durch den Logistigpartner AO war beispielhaft. Sie erfolgte nach Terminvereinbarung pünktlich, sorgfältig und bis zum Aufstellort. Der Aufbau war selbst für mich (weiblich, 162cm klein) alleine recht einfach. Die Aufbauanleitung war recht verständlich, so dass das Gerät bereits nach 20 Minuten einsatzbereit war. Das Training mit dem Gerät ist toll. Die Qualität des Materials und der Verarbeitung ist sehr hochwertig. Keine Geräusche des Sitzes oder des Zugbands. Das Geräusch des Wasserwiderstands beruhigt mich sogar. Meines Erachtens ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

The delivery by the logistics partner AO was exemplary. After making an appointment, it was carried out punctually, carefully and right up to the installation site. The construction was quite easy even for me (female, 162cm small) alone. The assembly instructions were quite understandable, so that the device was ready for use after 20 minutes. Training with the device is great. The quality of the material and the workmanship is very high. No noise from the seat or the drawstring. The sound of water resistance even calms me down. In my opinion, great value for money.

Bin sehr zufrieden, super Qualität. Leider kann ich meinen Bauchgurt mit dem Gerät nicht koppeln, es gibt auch keine Beschreibung wie das gehen soll und mit welchen gurt es funktioniert.

Ich habe dieses Rudergerät während des Lockdowns aufgrund seiner positiven Bewertungen erworben. Die Lieferung erfolgte prompt, der Aufbau war einfach und ist auch alleine zu bewältigen. Das Gerät ist im Großen und Ganzen sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und prima im Handling. Einzig die Fußstützen erwiesen sich als Manko aufgrund der eher groben Fertigung im Achillessehnenbreich. Diesbezüglich den Händler zwecks Ersatz kontaktiert - der Kundendienst nahm sich meiner Anfrage sehr höflich und zuvorkommend an, sodaß eine für beide Seiten zufriedenstellende Lösung gefunden werden konnte.

I bought this rower during lockdown based on its positive reviews. The delivery was prompt, the assembly was easy and can also be done alone. Overall, the device is of very high quality and easy to handle. Only the footrests proved to be a shortcoming due to the rather rough production in the Achilles tendon area. In this regard, contacted the dealer for a replacement - the customer service took care of my request very politely and courteously, so that a mutually satisfactory solution could be found.

Das Rudergerät ist vom Aufbau her sehr gut. Der Zusammenbau lief auch (recht) reibungslos. Ein Kritikpunkt hier: die Anleitung (Darstellungen) dürfte grösser sein und ein kleiner Hinweis auf die richtige Position des Sitzes wäre gut. Das ist nicht erkennbar. Die Funktion .. Der Trainingscomputer (in meinem Begriff nur eine Anzeige) ist einfach aufgebaut. Leider zu einfach. Eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung wäre schon sinnvoll. Vielleicht liegt es auch an meinen Augen ... Beim Einsetzen der Batterien kann man eine Trainingsintensität einstellen. Leider ist nicht angegeben, was leicht und schwer ist. Diese Einstellung kann man während dem Betrieb wohl auch nicht umstellen (ich habe dazu nichts gefunden) Wäre schön, wenn 2 Personen das Gerät nutzen! Diese Konsole ... lässt sich auch nicht mit Bluetooth mit einem Tablet verbinden (ja, steht in den Fragen, die Beschreibung weist das jedoch nicht aus), dadurch hat man auch keine Erfolgskontrolle. Lässt sich aber mit einem Block und Stift 'beheben'. Dir Stufen mit dem Wassertank lassen sich (natürlich) leicht einstellen. Das Rudern ist sehr angenehm, es knarzt und surrt nichts. Der Sitz läuft sehr gut und der Rahmen ist wirklich stabil. Das Gerät hätte mit der Technik (mechanisch) locker 5 Sterne '+' verdient. Da aber der 'Computer' nur eine bessere Anzeige ist, die Bedienungsanleitung -auch über die Einstellungen der Elektronik- nur mangelhaft ist, kann ich nur die 3 Sterne geben. Was mir noch fehlt: es ist nirgendwo beschrieben, welche Übertragung ein möglicher Pulsgurt verwenden muss. Für mich als Fazit: das Gerät ist klasse. Sehr stabil, einfach (auch für 1 Person) aufzubauen und läuft leise. Das 'plätschern' des Wassers ist -für mich- angenehmer, als das Surren einer Magnetbremse. Der Computer ist -sorry- unterirdisch. In der heutigen Zeit könnten mehr Funktionen zur Verfügung stehen. Und Bluetooth (andere Geräte, ähnliche Bauart, optisch gleiche Anzeige) haben das (bei günstigerem Preis) Das Umstellen der (oben genannten) Trainingsstufe, ohne Batterien zu entnehmen und einzusetzen, ist eigentlich ein 'MUSS'. Ich erwarte kein OLED-Display mit Gestensteuerung ... Vermutlich wäre mit Bluetooth und einer übersichtlich gestalteten APP alles behoben ... Die Beschreibung .. man kann damit anfangen. Ausführlicher (Einstellungen und deren Auswahlmöglichkeit beim Eingeben) wäre sicher machbar und für einen Anfänger wie mich eine Erleichterung. Was mir überhaupt nicht gefällt: ich habe den Verkäufer vor 1,5 Wochen angefragt, welches Signal der Brustgurt benötigt - bis Heute keine Rückmeldung! Schade. Das trägt nicht zur Kundenbindung bei ... Zurücksenden ... nein. Wie geschrieben, das Gerät ist klasse. Den 'Computer' kann ich mit meiner Garmin 'ausgleichen'. Nochmal kaufen ... ?? Denke, mit den 'Erfahrungen' eher ein höherwertiges Gerät mit einem Besseren Computer (und -leider- anderem Verkäufer. Updte 07.05.: Der Trainingscomputer ... leider ist er, nach den letzten Trainings ist das gut zu vergleichen gewesen (Online-Training und Garmin Uhr), sehr ungenau: die Schlagzahl weich meisst 10, dann bis zu 20 Prozent ab. Ein Training auf Schlagzahl ist so schwer möglich. Und ... die Batterien der Anzeige waren Heute leer. Nach 4 Monaten, unregelmässiger und nicht zu intensiver (:-( ) Nutzung ... Ist auch nicht 'Stand der Technik' ... Mal gespannt, wie es weiter geht ...

The rowing machine is very good in terms of structure. The assembly also went (quite) smoothly. A point of criticism here: the instructions (representations) could be larger and a small indication of the correct position of the seat would be good. That is not recognizable. The function .. The training computer (just a display in my opinion) has a simple structure. Unfortunately too easy. A backlight would be useful. Maybe it's my eyes too... When inserting the batteries, you can set a training intensity. Unfortunately, it is not specified what is light and heavy. You probably can't change this setting during operation either (I haven't found anything about it) It would be nice if 2 people use the device! This console... cannot be connected to a tablet via Bluetooth either (yes, it says so in the questions, but the description doesn't say so), so you don't have any success control either. But it can be 'fixed' with a pad and pen. The levels with the water tank are (of course) easy to adjust. Rowing is very pleasant, there is no creaking or whirring. The seat runs very well and the frame is really stable. The device would have easily earned 5 stars '+' with the technology (mechanically). But since the 'computer' is only a better display, and the operating instructions - including the settings for the electronics - are only inadequate, I can only give the 3 stars. What I'm still missing: it is not described anywhere which transmission a possible pulse belt must use. For me as a conclusion: the device is great. Very stable, easy to set up (even for 1 person) and runs quietly. The 'rippling' of the water is - for me - more pleasant than the whirring of a magnetic brake. The computer is - sorry - underground. In this day and age, more features could be available. And Bluetooth (other devices, similar design, optically the same display) have that (at a lower price) Changing the (above) training level without removing and inserting batteries is actually a 'MUST'. I'm not expecting an OLED display with gesture control... Everything would probably be fixed with Bluetooth and a clearly designed APP... The description... you can start with that. More detailed (settings and their selection options when entering) would certainly be feasible and a relief for a beginner like me. What I don't like at all: I asked the seller 1.5 weeks ago which signal the chest strap needed - no response until today! A pity. This does not contribute to customer loyalty ... Sending back ... no. As written, the device is great. I can 'balance' the 'computer' with my Garmin. Buy again...?? Think, with the 'experience' rather a higher-quality device with a better computer (and - unfortunately - different seller. Update 07.05.: The training computer ... unfortunately it is, after the last training it was easy to compare (online training and Garmin watch), very imprecise: the number of strokes softly measures 10, then up to 20 percent. Training on the number of strokes is so difficult. And ... the batteries in the display were empty today. After 4 months, more irregularly and not too intensive (:-( ) use... It's not 'state of the art' either... Let's see how it goes on...
